The Practice:

We are alive! Often in our daily lives, we are so busy thinking about living, we forget that we are living right now! It's called yoga practice because it's just that: a preparation for the rest of our lives. The skills we develop will begin to creep into every other part of our world. The practice of Hatha Yoga using pranayama (breath), asana (postures), mantra, and guided meditation will help realize the mind/body connection, creating a healthier self. My training in tantric yoga emphasizes the journey rather than the destination; an emphasis on life in this world, but above it.  Sun salutations begin to morph into a moderate/strong flow while the ever present breath marks time to some good yoga groove music. Once the body is warm and the muscles are awake, we move into some balancing postures, then to the floor for a long deep stretch, preparing the body for meditation. The private sessions can be adjusted for any individual, regardless of physical ability or prior experience.

"If we are facing the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking."
